Here we share the often-untold stories of Indigenous mothers in street sex work who lead within their families and communities. Focusing on experiences of mothering is a way to breathe form into the ghostly contours of the sex worker mother, to challenge the dehumanization of Indigenous sex worker mothers, and to hold up the many mothers we spoke to who, through their mothering practices and identities, were, and are, leaders.
